# Tonecast > Tonecast is a SaaS platform that shows what AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity) say about a brand, product, person or topic, and which web pages shaped those answers. Tagline: "Know what AI thinks. And why." Tonecast samples AI assistants every week through their official APIs, with web search or grounding enabled, on the questions people actually ask, in every language a campaign tracks. It reports AI visibility rate, Tone in AI, recommendation rate and share of voice in AI answers per engine, prompt and language, each with a 95% confidence interval. It checks factual claims against the subject's fact sheet (consistent, incorrect, outdated, unverifiable). For every campaign it builds a source graph of the pages behind the answers, in three tiers (Cited, Formative, Owned), each page with an influence weight and the reason it was included; the user never selects sources. Its lead indicator ("Early signals") tests whether the sources move before the answers and shows one of three states: none, observing or active, where active requires statistical significance after correction for multiple testing. Key facts: engines available are ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity (Google AI Overviews on the way); no scraping of consumer apps and no closed social platforms. Plans in EUR, VAT excluded where it applies: Essential €29/month, Starter €79/month, Pro €249/month, Agency €549/month; yearly billing is 20% less; +25 tracked prompts for €25/month. No free trial; a public demo on fictitious brands needs no account. ## Product - [Features](https://tonecast.io/features): AI Answers, What shaped it (source graph), claim check, Early signals, gap & action list, methodology card, exports, and which plan includes each. - [How it works](https://tonecast.io/how-it-works): the pipeline from prompts to weekly sampling, answer analysis, keyword-free source discovery, influence weights and the lead estimate; what Tonecast never does. - [Methodology](https://tonecast.io/methodology): official APIs, repeated sampling, confidence intervals, published quality targets, versioned models, rules for early signals, limitations. - [Pricing](https://tonecast.io/pricing): plans, limits (prompts, engines, campaigns, source pages, history), the prompt add-on, what happens over limits. - [API reference](https://tonecast.io/developers): the read-only public API (Agency plan) for AI answers, metrics, the source graph, claims and alerts. - [Compare](https://tonecast.io/compare): Tonecast versus social listening tools versus AI visibility trackers, as categories. - [About](https://tonecast.io/about): why Tonecast exists and the hypothesis it tests. - [Glossary](https://tonecast.io/glossary): definitions of AI visibility rate, Tone in AI, share of voice in AI answers, source graph, influence weight, FSI, claim check, GEO and more. ## Use cases - [Brands and marketing teams](https://tonecast.io/use-cases/brands): whether AI mentions, recommends and correctly describes a brand. - [Agencies and analysts](https://tonecast.io/use-cases/agencies): one workspace per client, filters, exports and a methodology card for client reporting. - [SEO and content teams](https://tonecast.io/use-cases/seo-content): prompts where only competitors appear, cited and formative pages, owned pages to update. - [PR and communications](https://tonecast.io/use-cases/pr-communications): tone, claims and the sources carrying a story; early signals. ## Guides - [What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?](https://tonecast.io/guides/what-is-generative-engine-optimization): definition, GEO versus SEO, what AI engines draw on, what a brand can do. - [How to check what ChatGPT says about your brand](https://tonecast.io/guides/how-to-check-what-chatgpt-says-about-your-brand): a step-by-step manual method with repeated sampling. - [Why do AI assistants cite some sources and not others?](https://tonecast.io/guides/why-ai-assistants-cite-some-sources): retrieval, citations and formative sources. - [How to fix wrong information about your brand in AI answers](https://tonecast.io/guides/how-to-fix-wrong-information-about-your-brand-in-ai-answers): from the wrong claim to the pages that carry it. - [Measuring AI visibility: a methodology guide](https://tonecast.io/guides/measuring-ai-visibility-methodology): metric definitions, sample sizes, confidence intervals, pitfalls. ## Optional - [Full text for language models](https://tonecast.io/llms-full.txt): the main pages above in one Markdown file. - [Public demo](https://tonecast.io/app/demo): every Tonecast view on fictitious brands, no account needed. - [Plan catalogue (JSON)](https://tonecast.io/api/v1/plans/): the plan limits the application enforces. - [Privacy policy](https://tonecast.io/privacy), [Terms](https://tonecast.io/terms), [DPA](https://tonecast.io/dpa), [Sub-processors](https://tonecast.io/subprocessors), [Cookies](https://tonecast.io/cookies), [Acceptable use](https://tonecast.io/acceptable-use)
